We are delighted to announce that registration for the 58th Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology is now open. The event takes place at the world-class ACC Liverpool from 16 - 18 April 2018. It will cater for all haematology specialists, providing an excellent scientific and educational programme covering the latest research and best practice.
As a direct result of the success of the 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting, where we had the largest attendance for a standalone BSH ASM with over 1000 delegates, we have reduced members' fees for 2018. We have also introduced a preferential member day rate for those not able to attend the full three days, concessionary rates for certain member categories as well as a special rate for medical students.
The theme of the meeting is Better Science, Better Treatment, which aims to capture the huge opportunity haematologists now have to transform patient outcomes by accelerating the impact of novel genomics, data and therapeutics on clinical care.
The three main days will be packed with more than 36 sessions and will open with a joint British Society for Haematology and American Society of Hematology session and close with a summary of key information from the meeting in the take-home messages.
In between will be 27 educational sessions, 3 plenary lectures and 16 Sponsored Symposia as well as free communication and Meet the Expert sessions. There will also be the ever-popular Pitfalls Meeting on Sunday 15 April.
The feedback from the very well attended BSH Meeting in 2017 was extremely positive and we are confident that the 2018 ASM will also provide a similar opportunity to enjoy networking with colleagues at the congress and social events, in addition to an outstanding educational programme.
We look forward to welcoming you to Liverpool in 2018 for what promises to be an unmissable event for anyone interested in haematology.
