The British Society for Haematology has launched a new online educational resources area of its website. This resource which has been in development for just over a year, will provide extensive study material for those interested in haematology at all stages of training or in practice.
It provides a wealth of resources, including case reports, tutorials, essay questions, SBAs and other MCQs, haematology images, as well as lectures and videos. For medical students these resources have been developed in line with the BSH national undergraduate curriculum. Accessing the material requires registration. New material will be added as it becomes available.
Dr Fiona Miall, BSH Education Committee Chair said: 'We are delighted to be able to launch the education area of the BSH website with credit to the huge body of work undertaken by Professor Barbara Bain and colleagues. To build on the BloodMed legacy and bring this wealth of material to those interested in haematology is both exciting and rewarding.'
To visit the education area of the website please visit www.b-s-h.org.uk/education or to submit content for publication please visit www.b-s-h.org.uk/education/submit-content-for-publication
This will replace the BloodMed site, which will be closed down on 30 September 2017.
