The RCP's annual Acute and general medicine conference is designed to provide consultants and trainees who undertake general medicine as part of their clinical service with advanced training and latest updates from a wider range of medical specialties than any other conference. The conference runs from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 October 2017.
The programme for this conference is directed by Dr Ananthakrishnan Raghuram, the RCP's Linacre fellow. The content is divided into 10 sessions over the 3 days, covering the following areas:
- care of older people
- infectious diseases for the general physician
- diabetes and endocrinology
- respiratory medicine
