This course is ideal for staff new to haemato-oncology or as a comprehensive lymphoma refresher for more experienced staff. Lectures will be delivered by expert medical, nursing and patient speakers and there will be time for networking with colleagues from across the region.
The programme is endorsed by UKONS and includes the following:
- The management of different types of lymphoma CT and PET scanning
- The Psychological Impact of a diagnosis
- Survivorship: supporting patients beyond lymphoma
- Clinical Trials
- Patient experiences
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for six study hours which can be used for CPD purposes.
Registration is £25 and includes refreshments and buffet lunch.
A limited number of bursaries are available for nurses who cannot secure funding to attend this course.
