THE ST MARY’S ONE-DAY COURSE INHISTOPATHOLOGY OF THE BONE MARROW

Will be held at Hammersmith Hospital on Monday, 3rd April 2017

This course is appropriate for consultant haematologists, staff grade haematologists and advanced senior trainees. Self-accredit for CPD (14 credits). Layton. 42 places only Registration/microscopy starts 0915hrs, first lecture1015hrs, course finishes 1730hrs Thursday.

THE ST MARY’S ONE-DAY COURSE IN LABORATORY ASPECTS OF
HAEMOGLOBINOPATHY DIAGNOSIS


Will be held at Hammersmith Hospital on Thursday 6th April 2017

This course which includes lectures, microscopy and interpretation of haemoglobin electrophoretic strips andHPLC plots, is suitable for consultants and other career grade post holders in haematology, trainees inhaematology and BMS with some previous experience in the field. 60 places, self-accredit for CPD (7 credits). The cost is £125 including a light lunch and USB. Registration/practical work starts 0915hrs, course finishes1730hrs. Course organiser: Professor B J Bain. THE ST MARY’S ONE-DAY MORPHOLOGY UPDATE FOR BIOMEDICAL SCIENTISTS AND 1ST YEAR SPECIALIST TRAINEES

Will be held at Hammersmith Hospital on Friday, 7th April 2017

This course, which includes lectures and microscopy (mainly blood films), is suitable for experienced BMSs, andhaematology trainees in the first year of their training.  64 places. The cost is £115 (including a light lunch and USB) CPD approval requested from IBMS, consultants self-accredit (7 credits).
