The International Congress on SDS is a major biennial conference sharing the latest research and clinical practice relevant to Shwachman Diamond syndrome and related paediatric haematological and bone marrow failure conditions. The 2020 Congress will be the first to be held in the UK since 2005. Topics covered at the 2020 Congress include:
- clinical practice
- gene therapy
- translational control
- ribosome assembly
- drug discovery
The keynote speakers are Nenad Ban, ETH Zurich, Maria Barna, Harvard University and Johanna Rommens, Sick Kids Hospital Toronto.
The Congress takes place at Robinson College in Cambridge, 6-9 April 2020, with a gala dinner in the 16th century hall of St John’s College. Four star en suite accommodation is available for Congress attendees at Robinson College.
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are invited and should be received by 31 January 2020.
The closing date for early bird registration is 15 February 2020.
