Time: 09:30 - 15:00
Venue: Virtual Meeting
The British Society for Haemostasis and Thrombosis (BSHT) is our national organisation for healthcare professionals and researchers with an interest in the science of blood coagulation and its associated diseases.
Each year the Society hosts an Annual Scientific Meeting that is the largest in the UK focusing specifically on these topics. It provides a forum for clinicians, researchers and industry representatives to come together to share knowledge of the latest developments and ideas for new innovations. The meeting is headlined with invited state-of-the-art plenaries from global experts in the fields of haemostasis and thrombosis to meet the continuing professional development needs of attendees.
The format is specifically designed to encourage trainees from all professional groups to submit their work to gain valuable experience of presenting in a friendly environment before doing so on larger, international stages. Sessions with talks from established key opinion leaders are tailored to the educational needs of scientific and clinical trainees.
For the first time the meeting will take place in a virtual platform. This will facilitate access for speakers and attendees from a truly global audience with content available on demand after the meeting to registered users. The savings made when converting from a physical to a virtual meeting are reflected in the registration fees which are much reduced compared with our previous face-to-face conferences.
