This funding can include venue hire, catering, reasonable travel expenses for speakers and stationery.

Grant Details
Deadline:
There is no fixed deadline. Applications can be made at any time but should be submitted at least 12 weeks before the planned meeting.

Eligibility:
Open to all BSH Members. Membership applications can take up to six weeks to process. If you are applying for membership please do so no later than six weeks prior to the application deadline or date of the event you wish to attend.
The meeting can be on any haematology-related subject. It must be open to all BSH members and held in the UK, and the organisers must publicly acknowledge the support from the Society.
If a registration fee is payable, this also applies to BSH members. The meeting should be advertised on the BSH website.
Availability:
Five grants are available annually.
What to include in your application:
- a preliminary programme
- detailed meeting costs/budget forecast
- details of any other sources of funding
- all other relevant information, including your target audience

Requirements for successful applicants:
A short report detailing the impact of the grant funding will be sent to the BSH via [email protected] within eight weeks of the meeting.
You must provide evidence of expenditure. This could be either a breakdown of spends on headed paper, or receipts up to the amount you are claiming. These should be sent, with your claim form, to the Grants team via [email protected] as soon as possible after the meeting.
