The course is suitable for haematology, histopathology consultants and trainees alike along with biomedical scientists aspiring to work or already working in MDS labs.

This "intensive - hands on" newly formatted course endeavours to scope all aspects of integrated reporting including morphology, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, NGS and histopathology. Brief talks on basic principles with case vignettes on flow cytometry, NGS and cytogenetics are included. There will be a separate 2 hour session on pertinent histopathology diagnostics in the afternoon. The delegates will work through several diverse cases through the morning which are then discussed in the final session in a MDT format with inputs from haematologists, histopathologists and senior biomedical scientists in immunophenotyping, cytogenetics and NGS.
