
This half-day event will cover a range of haematological conditions. Specific points discussed will include how malignant haematological conditions may present to a general haematologist, differentiating which require more specialist care, when to refer, and what standard and innovative therapies are available.
Topics will include:
- Benign haematological problems, including thrombosis prevention
- Optimal management of sickle cell disease
- Innovative new therapies, including immune therapies
Following this event you will have gained an insight into the efficient management of common presenting signs and symptoms, optimal management of rare disorders (partnership of generalist and specialist), and awareness of newer, innovative therapies and when they should be used.
